How It Works

The Five Stages

Stage I

The Brief

Tell us about your character. What role do they play? What world do they inhabit? The more detail you give us, the better we can serve your vision.

What you provide: character concept, reference images, event or system the garment is for, rough budget range.
Stage II

Consultation & Quote

We'll review your brief and come back with material suggestions, design options, and a full itemised quote. No surprises: every cost is confirmed before work begins.

What you provide: approval of quote, any design feedback, confirmation of measurements using our size guide.
✦ A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your commission slot.
Stage III

Measurements & Pattern

Once your deposit is received, we take or confirm your measurements and begin the pattern. For Malta-based clients, an in-person fitting can be arranged. Remote clients use our detailed measurement guide.

What you provide: completed measurement form, or attendance at fitting.
Stage IV

Construction

The garment is built. You'll receive progress updates at key milestones (fabric cut, base construction complete, finishing work underway). We welcome questions at any stage.

What you provide: responses to any clarification questions promptly.
✦ Most commissions complete within 8–12 weeks from deposit, depending on complexity and queue.
Stage V

Delivery & Sign-Off

Your finished piece is photographed, inspected, and dispatched. We include care instructions and a brief note on the garment's construction. If anything isn't right, we'll make it right.

What you provide: delivery address, final 50% balance before dispatch.

Typically 8–12 weeks from deposit. Complex multi-piece commissions may take longer, and we'll advise at quote stage.
Yes. Remote measurement guides are provided. Please note that international shipping costs and import duties are the customer's responsibility.
Absolutely. We send milestone updates and welcome questions throughout.
Minor adjustments are included. We'll always work with you to get it right.
We build exclusively for soft-weapon LARP: foam and latex weapon systems, light-contact combat with strictly no stabbing or thrusting. If that's not your system's ruleset, we're likely not the right fit for combat-ready gear, but get in touch and we'll be upfront about it.
