StoneKeep Outfitters is a bespoke and ready-made medieval & LARP garment business based in Malta. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

Information You Provide

We collect personal data only when you give it to us directly, through the following forms on this site:

• ✦ Commission enquiries: your name, email address, character concept, garment type, budget range, event or system, timeline, any notes, and any reference images you choose to upload.
• ✦ Mailing list signups: your email address and, optionally, your first name.
• ✦ If you email us directly, whatever you include in that email and your email address.

We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on this site, so we do not collect browsing behaviour beyond what our hosting provider logs automatically to keep the site running (see "Third Parties" below).

Why We Collect It

Commission enquiry data is used to assess your brief, provide a quote, and, if you go ahead, to plan, construct, and deliver your garment. This is processed on the basis that it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and then to perform that contract.

Mailing list data is used to send the updates you signed up for: new garments, commission openings, and field dispatches. This is processed on the basis of your consent, given when you sign up. You can withdraw that consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly.

Who We Share It With

We do not sell your data. A small number of third-party services help us run this site and business, and each processes a limited slice of your data on our behalf:

• ✦ Mailchimp: stores and manages the mailing list, and sends the emails you've signed up for.
• ✦ Netlify: hosts this website and receives commission enquiry form submissions (including any uploaded reference images) so we can read and respond to them.
• ✦ Google Fonts: this site loads typefaces from Google's servers. As with any web font request, your device's IP address is shared with Google as part of that request.

Where Your Data Goes

Mailchimp and Netlify are US-based companies. Where any of our service providers process data outside the EU/EEA, we rely on the safeguards required by law (such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses) to ensure your data stays protected to the same standard.

How Long We Keep It

Commission enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to complete the commission, plus a reasonable period afterwards for warranty and accounting purposes, then deleted or anonymised.

Mailing list data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Your Rights Under GDPR

As a resident of Malta or the wider EU/EEA, you have the right to:

• ✦ Access the personal data we hold about you.
• ✦ Correct any inaccurate data.
• ✦ Request erasure of your data.
• ✦ Restrict or object to certain processing.
• ✦ Receive your data in a portable format.
• ✦ Withdraw consent at any time, where processing relies on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at press@stonekeepoutfitters.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with Malta's Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC).

Cookies & Similar Technologies

This site does not set first-party tracking or advertising cookies. Loading Google Fonts, as noted above, involves a request to a third-party server as part of normal page rendering, not a tracking cookie.

Changes to This Policy

This policy was last updated in September 2026. If we make material changes to how we handle your data, we'll update this page and, where appropriate, let our mailing list know.
